Godfrey George Bevan was born in 1887 at Seymour, Victoria, Australia. He was the son of William Bevan and Catherine Darcy. [1]

Godfrey George Bevan married Anna Maria O'Shea in 1910 at Victoria, Australia. [2]

Military Service
During World War I, Godfrey George Bevan age 29 years 4 months, married, occupation: Cigar Maker, enlisted on 12 July 1915 to served with the Australian Imperial Force. On 01 December 1915, Godfrey was discharged from service as medically unfit "through no fault of his own". He was suffering from Chronic Endocarditis (a life-threatening inflammation of the inner lining of the heart's chambers and valves). [3]
