Solomon Berry was born on 7 Jun 1825 in Turtle Creek, Coverdale, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Matthias Berry (1795– ) and Deliah Ricker (1780–1892).
Solomon married Mary Jane Jonah (born in 1834 in Turtle Creek; daughter of Peter Jonah and Eliza Ann (Beck) Jonah). Their known children were:
- Bliss Harding Berry (1866–1937)
- Viola Corona Berry (1868–1934)
Solomon (24) married Hannah Steeves (24) (born in 1824 in Turtle Creek; daughter of Elisha Steeves and Delilah Delia (Smith) Steeves) on 16 Sep 1849 in Coverdale. Their known children were:
