Biography

John Bernard immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
  • Musachiell Bernard of Batcombe, Clothier of the County, Somerset, aged 24 years.
  • Mary Bernard, his wife, aged 28 years.
  • John Bernard, his son, aged 3 years.
  • Nathaniel, his son, aged 1 year.

Musachiell is listed as holding several parcels of land in Weymouth in 1643, but is not listed in any later records, suggesting he returned to England shortly thereafter.[1]
