Biography

Thomas was born in 1889. He was the son of M. E. Benton and Elizabeth Wise. He married Rita Piacenza. They had two children, Thomas and Jessie.

Thomas Hart Benton was known for his paintings and murals of rural America. He passed away in 1975.

Notes

FAG contradicts its self, saying he died in Kansas City in the status field at the top, but then saying he died at his studio in Martha's Vineyard in the the bio text body.
