Biography

Henry Bentley is a part of US Black heritage.

Henry was born in 1922 in Georgia. He was the son of Will Bentley and Leila Johnson. ^[1]

In 1930 he was living with his widowed mother and siblings in Augusta, Georgia.^[2]

In 1940 he was living with his mother and stepfather John Fouch in McCurry, Georgia.^[3]

Henry served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1945 to 1949 with the Quartermaster Corps.^[4][5]

He passed away in 1997.
