he married 2nd, in 1847 at Wilton, Fairfield Co., Connecticut to Amanda Rockwell, born 2 Sept 1813 at Wilton Parish, Norwalk, Fairfield County, Conn., died in 1894, daughter of William "Billy" Rockwell (1786–1875) and Esther (Marvin) Rockwell (1790–1884);
