Biography

Lucy Ann Bellows was born on October 11, 1838 in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois, United States, the daughter of James Bellows and Judith Abigail Hopper.

After her father died, her mother married Eleazer King.

Lucy immigrated to the Utah Territory in 1852 with the John Tidwell Company.[1]

She married Stephen Markham in 1856.

She married Ambrose Sabin on November 3, 1857 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory.

She married William John Toutain in about 1861 in Salt Lake City.

Lucy passed away at an age of seventy-three on August 22, 1912 in Beaumont, Riverside County, California.[2]
