Biography

Agnes Bell was born about 1880 in Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland. She was the eldest daughter of Alexander Bell and Margaret Turnbull.[1][2]

Agnes was named after her maternal grandmother, Agnes Walker, just as her mother was named after her maternal grandmother, Margaret Rae.

In 1881 she was living in Coldingham, Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland with her parents, Alexander and Margaret and brother, Alexander.[1]

In 1891 he was living in Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland with her parents Alexander and Margaret; siblings Alexander, William, Andrew, Maggie, Isabella, and Thomas; and maternal grandmother, Agnes Turnbull.[2]
