Biography
Alexander Dawson Bell was born in 1882 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, son of James Bell (1856–1936) and Eliza Emma Nickels (1859–1936).[1]
Alexander (27) married Edith May McGuffin (22) (born in 1887 in Parkes, Colony of New South Wales; daughter of Thomas Scott McGuffin and Sarah Elizabeth Stain) in 1910 in Petersham, New South Wales, Australia.[2] Their children were:
- Beryl Mavis Bell (1911– )
- Jean Lenore Bell (1912–2005)
Alexander died on July 20, 1927 in Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia, aged 44.[3] [4] He is commemorated at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales.[5]
