I received an email stating you added a living Slupe, my maternal grandparents were named Slupe, Lester and Dorothy from Hancock County, Ohio.

I was wondering if there may be a connection Thank you David Steen

My youngest daughter Lori married a Slupe about 30 years ago but that marriage ended in divorce. He was from Pennsylvania near Harrisburg, I think. He lives somewhere in oklahoma city.

Thank you for responding, they most likely are not related, we have cousins in Mi and that is all I know of.

Hi Glendell

How is it going so far, were the Member How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?

Clicking your green tags shows members who follow that tag. Add tags other family surnames, for locations add a link for US_HISTORY. The tags link you to the community sourcing & research options Information on tags is on page one of the How To pages.

We want to help you learn about the site and the community, hopefully you found the pages and links useful.

Questions click my name & ask in the comment box on my page or post in the G2G Forum (see Help top right of your Profile

Glendell,

In the previous message box where I posted the instructions, click on the link in #1 Volunteer. When you click on that you will go to a Volunteer page and you will see the green Volunteer box. Click on it and then go back to your profile page. You should see the badge posted on this page. If that works, let me know and then we will proceed to tags. Ginny ~ WikiTree Greeter

Hi Glendell,

You currently are a guest on WikiTree. If you want to join as a full member of WikiTree, you need to :

1) Volunteer - there is a green link labeled Volunteer in the orange box which will take you to this page. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Volunteers

2) From there add tags to show your genealogical interests such as tags for family names of mother, grandmothers, locations.

3) Be sure to Volunteer.  Then any greeter will confirm your membership on wikiTree (which is free) . After this you will be able to start adding your family.
