Biography

John James Wilson Bell was born on 21 November 1884 in Palmerston, New Zealand[1].

He was a preacher in the Cooneyite religion. [2]

He immigrated from Auckland, New Zealand on March 9th, 1920 to Seattle, King, Washington, United States on the ship Niagara[3].

He married Annie M Hart on 26 December 1929 in Vancouver, Clark, Washington, United States[4][5].

He was living in Toledo, Lincoln, Oregon, United States in 1930 [6].

He became a naturalized citizen on May 22 1934 in Portland, Oregon[7]

He was recorded in Tract 16, Portland, Portland City Election Precinct 214, Multnomah, Oregon, United States in 1940 being in the same residence in 1935[8]

He went back to New Zealand shortly afterwards as he went back to the United States on 23 January 1941 on the Ship Empress of Russia[9][10].

He was living in Portland, Oregon, United States in 1942[11]

He died in December 1961 in Marion County, Oregon[12].
