Biography

WW2 veteran. Enlisted Dec 11 1942. According to his tombstone, he died in combat, somewhere over France. Buried in Bloomer City Cemetery, Bloomer, WI

Based on limited info available free through ancestry.com for the Evangelical Lutheran CHurch in America CHurch Records 1781-1969, Carl's parents were Oscar and Minda. US Census information provides confirmation.

Trying to get access to the following obits. Anyone with newspaper.com site, I'd love to get these. mention of an obit 23 Sept 1950 in Eau Claire WI, sibling Arnle Anderson. I think this is the Allie mentioned in the 1920 census, possibly marrying the boarder, Irvine Anderson from the 1930 census. Chippewa Herald-Telegram Chippewa Falls 9/26/1950 p 5 parents are mentioned in obit I have not yet been able to access from Oct 7, 1944 p 2, Leader-Telegram, Eau Claire, WI. Also obit 8/31/45 in Leader-Telegram p 2.
