John S. Beavers was born in 1823 in Tennessee. He had ten siblings. He was the son of John Beavers and Jane Barron. He married Everlina Green and they had four children, William B Beavers , Susan J Beavers , Almeta E Beavers and Caroline Beavers. In 1855 he acquired 40 acres of land in Nevada County, Arkansas and 1859 another 80 acres of land in Quachita County, Arkansas, United States. He was a farmer. John was a Confederate corporal in the Civil War. He passed away in 1880 in Quachita County, Arkansas, United States. Burial place unknown.
