Biography

Beatrice Hale Beatty was born on 20 May 1905 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. She was the daughter of Rev. Charles Sherrer Beatty and Lou Anna McConnell. She was baptized at the Oakland Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh on 6 Oct 1905.^[1][2] Her father was the pastor there from 1903-1910.^[3][4] In 1920, the family was living in Patchogue, Suffolk County, New York.^[5]

Beatrice married Richard Essex Currier on 13 Jun 1930 in Erie, Pennsylvania, with her father officiating the ceremony.^[6] They had one daughter and eventually moved to Pasadena, California. Richard died in 1941.^[7][8]

Beatrice married Maj. Alvin Lloyd on 19 Mar 1947 in the Post Chapel of Presidio, San Francisco.^[9] In 1950, they were living in Aurora, Adams County, Colorado.^[10] Alvin died in 1967.^[11]

Beatrice later married Andrew Harrison Doswell and he died in 1988.^[1][12][13]

Beatrice died on 30 May 2001.^[1] She seems to have three gravestones or cenotaphs:

• a gravestone with her first husband Richard Currier in Andrews Settlement Cemetery in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania^[14]
• a gravestone with her third husband Andrew Doswell in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado^[13]
• listed on the inscription wall of the cremation garden south of the central fountain in Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado^[15]
