Biography

William Beasley is a part of US Black heritage.

William was born in 1910 in California. He was the son of James Beasley and Minnie Jackson.

In 1920 William was living with his parents and siblings in Pasadena, California.^[1]

WIlliam served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II from 1943 to 1945.^[2]

During his service, William married Edna C Whitehead in Manhattan, New York in 1944.^[3]

In 1950 William was living with wife Edna, two daughters, his mother and an uncle in Pasadena, California where he was working as a mechanic in an auto garage.^[4]

He passed away in 1980 in Los Angeles County, California.^[5] He was buried in Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum, Altadena, Los Angeles County, California.^[6]
