Vincent Charles Beardsley, of Newark, entered into rest June 28, 2005. Predeceased by wife Aileen Beardsley in 1994. Loving father to Sharon Quinn of Prunedale, Christine Carrigan of Newark, Virginia Mitchell of Fremont and Phillip Beardsley of Roseville. Beloved grandfather to 7 grandchildren and great-grandfather to one great-grandchild. Dear brother to Francis Beardsley of Santa Rosa, Sister M. Anselm, O.P., of San Rafael, Sister M. Eleanor, O.P., of San Rafael, Lois McKeon of San Ramon and Jean Malloy of San Jose. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by a host of friends from St. Joseph's and Our Lady of Guadalupe parishes. Born August 25, 1914, in San Francisco, age 90. Member of St. Joseph's Men's Club, a very active member of St. Joseph's parish, an avid sports fan, especially the 49ers. [Alameda Times-Star 3 Jul 2005]
