Biography

Dorinda Mae Beal was born on 16 October 1939 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of Raymond Daniel Beal (1911–1968) and Maggie Naomi Wallace (1917–2007).[1][2]

Dorinda Beal and Walter Francis Parenteau (1931-2012) were married in 1966 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.[3]

She was the mother of at least two children.[2]

From her obituary: "She especially loved poetry and was a Harvard educated poet. She also had a beautiful operatic voice. She was well known for her outstanding cooking abilities and owned her own restaurant called Dorindas in Kingston, MA in her younger years."[2]

Dorinda Mae (Beal) Parenteau died on 28 March 2012 at the age of 72.[4]

Although she does have a Find A Grave memorial, details of her burial were not supplied there nor in her obituary.[5]
