Biography
Philip Beacall was born in ~1823 in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. His parents were John Carr (<1807 - >1823) and Elizabeth Beacall (<1798 - >1823). Philip worked for Laird, Son & Co, shipbuilders in Birkenhead.
His sister was Hannah Beacall (1819 - ).
Philip married Martha Teece (~1835 - ~1909) on September 3, 1855 in Wallasey, Cheshire.[1]

In 1871 (aged ~48), Philip was living in Birkenhead with his wife, Martha (36); and his children, John (14), Elizabeth (13), Jane (6), William (4), and Thomas (1); and James Jones (20).[12]
In 1881 (aged ~58), Philip's occupation was 'Assistant In Shipbuilder Stores'. He was living in Priory St., Birkenhead with his wife, Martha (47); their children , John F (24), Elizabeth (22), Jane (16), William (14), Thomas H (11), Ellen M (7), Alfred (5), Martha L (4), and Robert (0).[13]
Philip died on January 7, 1889 in Birkenhead, aged 65.[14][15]
