The Northern Miner (Charters Towers, Qld. : 1874 - 1954), Thu 10 Aug 1905, Page 4, Family Notices DEATH. BAXTER.—At Charters Towers, on Saturday, 5th inst. James Baxter, dearly beloved husband of Catherine Baxter ; aged 39 years. Deeply regretted.

The Brisbane Courier (Qld. : 1864 - 1933), Wed 23 Aug 1905, Page 1, Advertising AUSTRALIAN MUTUAL PROVIDENT SOCIETY. Established 1849. Queensland Branch : QUEEN AND EDWARD STREETS, BRISBANE. In the MATTER of JAMES BAXTER, late of Charters Towers, deceased, whose life was assured under Policy No. 172370 in this Society. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Society on or after the Twenty-third day of September next to pay the proceeds of the above Policy to CATHERINE BAXTER, the lawful Widow of the said deceased, in terms of Section 39 of the Life Assurance Companies Act of 1901. Any person objecting to such payment being made must notify his objection to the said Society within two weeks from the date hereof. Dated at Brisbane this Eighteenth day of August, 1905. F. T. BRIDGES. Resident Secretary.
