Susanna passed away on the 3 September 1921 in Tikorangi, New Plymouth District. Taranaki, New Zealand, age 84, she was buried at the Tikorangi Cemetery, in the New Plymouth District, Taranaki, New Zealand .[4]

Auckland Star 13th September 1921 page 8 [1] MRS SUSANNA JUPP - The death of Mrs Susanna Jupp, widow of the late George Jupp, at Tikorangi has removed one of the pioneers of Taranaki. She arrived with her father and siblings at New Plymouth by the ship Essex as far back at 1843. With her husband, Mrs Jupp settled on a military grant of 100 acres. Mr Jupp was colour-sergeant in the old No. 2 Company Taranaki Bush Rangers.
