James Batten is a part of US Black heritage.

James was born in 1911. He was the son of Noah Batten and Clara Rucker.

James enlisted in the U.S. Army on 5 June 1943 in Camp Forrest, Tennessee. His service number was 34716405.[1]

He passed away in 1978.
