Henry was born about 1776 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Martin Bash.

Henry married Charlotte [LNU] ^[1] about 1797 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. They were the parents of :

The will of Henry Bash of Muskingum, Ohio, was made on 1 Aug 1835, witnessed by Alexander Cordell, Caleb Hitchcock, and William Stephens, and proven on 20 Nov 1835. Henry bequeathed one third of his estate to his wife, Charlotte. He divided his land between his children, Jacob (40 acres), David (18 acres), Martin (40 acres) and Catharine Ruby (5 acres). His son William was to receive one dollar, and the remainder of his estate was to be divided between his children Jacob, Martin, Margaret (Jenkins), Charlotte (Hammer), Mary (Smith) and Elizabeth (Smith). Catharine Ruby was not to receive a share since she had already received 5 acres of land. Executors were his sons Jacob and Martin, and John and Samuel Smith.^[1]
