Rebecca Bartlett was born before 1634 in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now part of Massachusetts, to parents Robert Bartlett and Mary Warren. No birth records have been found. She married William Harlow December 20, 1649. Children: William, Samuel, Rebecca, William Jr. Only three survived the mother. She died shortly after the birth of the fourth child, between June 2, 1657 and July 15, 1658 at Plymouth, at age 23. She is thought to be buried at Burial Hill, Plymouth, but no evidence has been found.
