Obituary: ROYAL BARRETT Seriously ill with heart disease only a day, Royal Barrett, 75, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert VonDell, Haskell Street, at 10:00 o’clock Saturday night. He became ill at 1:00 o’clock Saturday morning. Mr. Barrett was born in Madrid, July 19, 1856, a son of David and Lenora Allen Barrett. He moved with his family to Bombay when he was young and 53 years ago on July 4 he married Jennie Weston, Of Moira. The couple moved to Massena about 25 years ago. Mrs. Barrett died a number of years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Frank Brothers, 23 Stoughton street and Mrs VonDell, Haskell street; two sons Clinton Barrett, of Parker avenue, and Sidney Barrett, Of Massena-Louisville road. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Maynard P. Beach, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, conducted a prayer service at the home. Services were later held in the Methodist Episcopal church at Moira and burial was made in the Moira cemetery.
