Rebecca (Barnes) Mayfield is a part of US Black heritage.

Rebecca Frances Barnes was born on 25 Jan 1915 in Oberlin, Lorain County, Ohio. She was the daughter of James Barnes and Margaret Sallee and the twin sister of Samuel Edward Barnes.[1][2][3]

By 1940, Rebecca had married Marshall W Randle and they were living in Galveston, Texas.[4] They had two children. By 1950, they had separated and Rebecca and her children were living with her father in Oberlin, Ohio.[5] Rebecca was later married to Wallace Mayfield.[6]

Rebecca died in Allen Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio on 3 Jul 1973.[1][7] She was buried in Westwood Cemetery in Oberlin.[8]
