• "My Dad was a research bacteriologist and was recruited by a friend first to come to the Mass. State Lab in Jamaica Plain, later to the USNavy & Washington. While in Jamaica Plain, "Pete" as he was known most of his life, noticed a cute young lab assistant named Eleanor Cushing Wight.
