Biography
William Barker is a part of US Black heritage.
William Barker was born in Tennessee.
William Barker was born on 20 July 1895 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.[1]
He married Addie Mason on 7 October 1916 in Robertson County, Tennessee.[2]
On 30 March 1918, he was enlisted as a private in the 18th Engineers in World War I, and served until his honorable discharge on 12 August 1919.[3] In July 1919, he was listed on a troop ship returning home from Brest, France.[4]
In the 1930 census, they were living in Clarksville with four children.[5]
William Barker passed away on 22 November 1957 and was buried at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.[3][6]
