Biography
Amy "Mary" Barker was born in 1773 in New York Province. As her husband was from Duchess County, it is probable she was also born there. Her parents are not known.
She married John Hempsted and they had at least 4 children.
Amy (Barker) Hempsted passed away on 9 June 1832 in Rush, Monroe County, New York, USA. She was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Genesee County, Michigan, USA.[1]
