Biography

Sally was born in 1741. She is the daughter of Joel Barker and Sarah Edmunds. She was christened on the 10th of March 1741, and Drury Parker, Judith and Phyllis Edmunds were sponsors.^[1]

According to descendants, she married Alexander Huff and they had 3 children, Edmonds, Gallen and Julies.^{[citation needed]}

Descendants claim the Joel Barker in the land records of Surry and later Brunswick County, Virginia is the Joel who migrated to Wake County, North Carolina. Joel Barker of Wake County, North Carolina wrote his Last Will and Testament on the 22nd day of February 1779 leaving legacies to my three grand children Julies Huff, Edmonds Huff and Allen Huff^[2]
