John's wife, Judith Simmonds, probably immigrated with her parents, who likely arrived in 1630. It would thus seem possible that John's parents, Francis Barker and ?, also immigrated in 1630, when several ships came from England. This would fit in with the founding of Concord, Mass. in 1635.
