Biography
Mary was born in 1905.
She married Thomas Olmstead and they had eight children.
Mary passed away in 1984 and is buried adjacent to her husband in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia.[1]
Research Notes
Granddaughter Laurita Porter in an email (19 Jul 2008 to WWS) stated that her grandmother was Thomas' only wife. "She never had a birth Cert. there was a census record of baby Barentine. We are not sure how old she was when she died. Her Mother died when she was raised by a Ward which was her Grandparents on her Mother side. She had sister named Tine or Teen we are not sure of the real name she was just referred to as Aunt Teen or Tine. She was a Winkles when she died. There was Walt and Woodrow that were her brothers. Daddy said that may have been another but he was unsure of his name."
Apparently, after Thomas died in 1968, she remarried to a Winkles.
