Annie (Bardliving) Brown is a part of US Black heritage.

Annie was born about 1925. She is the daughter of Willie Bardliving and Frances Staley, both of Orangeburg, SC. She was born in Connecticut.

She married Rev. Calvin Brown, on 15 June 1952, in Stamford, CT.

He passed away in 1988, as mentioned in the The South Bend Tribune on 21 July 1988 in South Bend, Indiana. ^[2]

ELKHART - Services for Rev. Calvin Brown, 70, of 244 Chapman Ave., who died at 6;15 pm Tuesday in his home after an illness, will be 2 pm Monday in Macedonia Church of God in Christ. Burial will be being n Rice Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Sunday in Unity Church of God in Christ. Alfords' Mortuary, South Bend is in charge of the arrangements.

Rev. Brown retired form New York Central railroad and then retired in 1982 from Elkhart Foundry and as a pastor of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ. He was born Aug 16, 1917 in Centreville, Miss. He had lived in elkhart since coming from Sikeston, MO, 43 years ago. ON June 15, 1952, in Stamford Conn, he married Annie Bardliving. She survives with a son, Calvin Jr., of Elkhart; four grandchildren; a sister Emma Baker of Sikeston; and a brother, rev Milton Brown of Elkhart. A daughter, Darlene Woodley, died in 1979. He was a member of Unity church of God in Christ, where he was a form district Sunday school superintendent.
