Richard Charles Sanguins Barbery was born 22 July 1864 and baptised 18 June 1867 at the Ladock Wesleyan-Methodist Chapel. He was the son of Caroline Barbery. ^[1]

He married Catherine Tonner Smith in 1902 in Victoria, Australia. ^[2]

He married Esther Louisa Iddles in 1915 in Victoria. ^[3]

He passed away in 1937, aged 70. ^[4]
