Biography

Arthur Barber is a part of US Black heritage.

Arthur Barber was born in Castleton, Vermont on August 10, 1889. He was the son of Judson Barber and Hattie Jackson. [1][2]

Arthur served in the United States Army during World War I with Co. F. in the 807th Pioneer Infantry. [3][4][5][6][7]

Arthur passed away on January 18, 1949 in Castleton, Vermont and is buried there in Hillside Cemetery. [8][9]

Research Notes

Arthur's headstone appears in the photos on Find a Grave to be engraved as the 307th Pioneer Infantry but he is clearly listed with the 807th in military record and Find a Grave has transcribed it as 807.
