1902-11-27: Mathilde Bannscheidt was born in Heiligenhaus. Her parents were the master locksmith Wilhelm Barnscheidt and the handmaid Henriette Karoline Marie Barnscheidt. She had one older sibling. Their family name was registered as Bannscheidt.^[1]

She worked as a factory laborer ("Fabrikarbeiterin").^[2]

1925-03-21 (22): She was married to the locksmith Ernst Keim in Heiligenhaus. Her name changed to Mathilde Keim.^[2]

1925-03-21 … 1928-08-31: Their father's family name was corrected to Barnscheidt due to a court order of the Amtsgericht in Velbert. But she was already married and had already another name. Her birth name was not corrected.^[3][4]

1925-09-06 (22): Their daughter Helga Keim was born in Heiligenhaus.^[5]

1932-03-16 (29): Their son Egon Keim was born in Heiligenhaus.^[6]
