She carried a shower bouquet of sweet peas, gerberas, and asparagus fern. Mr. O. Ballard, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bride was given away by her father.
After the ceremony, the guests sat down to a sumptuous repast, at which Elder Vaughan officiated. The guests were received by the mother of the bride, dressed in black, relieved by a spray of white camellias. Mrs. A. Ballard, mother of the bridegroom, wore a costume in grey, with black accessories. A beautiful wedding cake in pink was set in a bed of pink cactus, nasturtiums and asparagus fern, the tables being decorated with gerberas and nasturtiums.
