The monthly challenge for the English project is to correct the format for birth places. This file was flagged by the Data Doctor. In trying to correct it I was left with London or Essex. London is not in Essex. It borders it. Then when I looked at the bio, it has a birth place in Staffordshire. I checked freeBMD and there was no Thomas Edward Ball in the index in London or Essex in 1861. In correcting the place name I have removed London, Essex County, England, United Kingdom and just left England until you get a chance to figure it out. Best of luck, Christol
