Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz.

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Add Location tags Country, County, Town related to family. click on the green tags see who is following same name

Hello Gene - Kin, THANKS for going through this 'mess' and helping me add 'better documentation'. I do Appreciate your time and consideration. Gene, I stepped to the side to document something else and now computer is beginning to give me fits! I'm in the middle of some 230 Pages of documentation that I want to POST on the internet soon. Yes, we need to Merge Catharine Jane Rector/Biggs and since you have taken an interest in this, I'm asking that we get together on our documentation. I do NOT want one of us to lose any documentation over the other. You went one way and I have gone another per documentation an it should fit/balance in the end. I purpose we Combine it to One acceptable to both of us. * I've written my combination and want to Re-check documentation first. - Ralph Biggs

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader

HI,

just a word (late) to congratulate you on the contributions you made during the month of November. Whatever the quantity, they are all important.

Your work is appreciated.

Thanks

Guy Constantineau

Hi Gene, Thank you for the note and questions on Sources!

Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Here is what our Sources help page says. It has lots of ideas: Sources

The Sources Style Guide shows how to enter sources in the biography.

A free and very good website to find sources for your family/ancestors is Family Search.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try!

Hi Bales,
