Michael was born 22 February 1917 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Balazovich and Mary Cech.
David was a gunner on the B-24 Liberator bomber, Flak Alley (41-24225-T), participating in Operation Tidal Wave the low-level attack on the Romanian oil refineries at Ploesti on 1 August 1943.
He passed away 28 February 1993 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.[1][2]
