Biography

Captain Daniel Baker served in the United States Civil War.

Daniel was born in 1825 Zebulon Baker and Elizabeth Albee. Daniel married Laura Elizabeth Strong on 18 Feb 1861 in Lake County, Ohio. Daniel enlisted in Company D of the 103rd OVI on 21 Aug 1862 as a Private. There is no record of his discharged but he later enlisted in Company G of the 10th Tennessee Cavalry as a 1st Lieutenant and was later promoted to Captain. Daniel was a Farmer and owned a Mill when living in Nebraska. He passed away in 1908.
