Biography

Arthur Hudson Baker was born in 1886 in New Zealand, son of Edward Baker and Elizabeth Harold Hudson.
He married Annie Bird McGlashan in 1914. She died in 1915.[1]
He then married Beatrice Helen Hemmings in 1918. Their children include:
- Leonard Henry (b. 24 Oct 1919; d 25 Oct 1919 1919/8418)
- Reginald Hudson
- Joy (Bigwood)[2]
Beatrice died in 1961.[3]
Arthur then married Mary Lancaster Lucking née Withell.[4][5]
Arthur died on 18 December 1972 in New Zealand, aged 85. He is commemorated at Canterbury Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, Bromley, Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand (plot: Roseland L49).
