just a note - when Valentine created this profile, it was for the husband of Frances Ward, William Barker, mariner. Today, her husband is not represented by this profile but by William Barker (abt.1590-bef.1655).

I think that probably the Sarah attached as daughter (Baker-582) should be detached and merged with Barker-3191. From what I can tell, William Barker (with the "r") was the husband of Frances Ward and their children were Sarah, John and Elizabeth - listed in a 1661/2 court record, an abstract of which is posted on Frances's profile. It's unclear exactly what the record is for, but starts with "Abstract. Part of text in Latin. 1st March 1661/2. Richard Taylor... to Mrs Frances Letherland,..." and is signed by Richard Tayler (Sarah's first husband, from all accounts).

I took over this profile since it was an orphan. I have not researched him. Make the changes you have. Thanks Dwight.

A child's birth date (Barker-1395 born 4 Apr 1594) should not be before a parent is six years old (Baker-583 born 1599)
