There is a lot of confusion here in regards to William and Sarah being George Washington Baker's parents. If you go to https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L434-GVH it shows his parents are John Renta Baker and Susannah Baker. The 1850 Census shows George living in the same residence as John R and Susanah Baker. "United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MDZ6-HT6 : 22 December 2020), George Baker in household of John R Baker, Linn, Missouri, United States; citing family , NARA microfilm publication (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

George's wife Susan's parents were William and Sarah Jane Baker.
