Samuel Bak is a Jewish Lithuanian-American painter and writer who survived the Holocaust.[1]
Samuel was born in 1933 in Vilna;[2]today it is in Lithuania and in 1933 it was in Poland.
"In 1941, Samuel Bak and his parents were imprisoned in the Vilnius ghetto, his father was transferred to a labor camp in the HKP. His grandparents and all other relatives were killed in Paneriai."[3]
He was recorded in the Vilna ghetto in May 1942.[4]
