Biography
Niall was the only son of Gen. Sir (Harry Beauchamp) Douglas Baird and his wife Ethel Mary Frances née Caldecott. He died aged 77 and was cremated in Aberdeen.
He was an officer in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He and Sue were divorced before 1978. He may have used the name Caldecott-Baird.
