Anselm was baptised on 22nd September 1743 at Whitminster. His parents were John and Sarah. [1] He was named after his paternal Grandfather.
On 15 November 1766 Anselm married Ann Shipway in Whitminster. [2]
Ann died the following year and was buried on 4 October 1766 in Whitminster. [3]
On 20 October 1770 he married Ann White at Whitminster. [4] His sister Sarah had married earlier that year. The couple baptised at least 4 children (possibly 6 with 2 Williams and 2 Hannahs). Hannah (1773) , Ann (1772), John (1775) and William (1777) plus William (1778) and Hannah (1782).
Anselm and Ann lived long lives. She died in 1824 aged 77 and he died at the age of 83. He was buried in Whitminster on 6th December 1826. [5]
