Ben C. Bailey, 78, of Spring Mills, formerly of Rebersburg, died on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Centre Crest nursing home in Bellefornte. Born on July 1, 1924 in Johnstown, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Katurah Flick Bailey.

On July 2, 1971, he married Mariam M. Rearick, In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda Leiss, of Wooster Ohio, and Barbara D. Vanada, of Centre Hall; a son Scott A. Bailey, of Centre Hall; and four stepdaughters, Beatrice K. Bilger, of Lewistown, Jamie L. Bower, of Port Matilda, Kathy Rockey, of Zion, and Jennifer Holdren, of Lamar; two sisters, Betty Grubb and Sally Dreibelbis, both of State College; two grandchildren; a greatgrandchild; 14 stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
