Stanley William Bade was born on 29th March 1917 in Rosewood, Queensland, Australia. He was the third son of Hermann Bade and Martha Berlin. [1]
Stanley married Madge Huth on 29th March 1941 in Queensland. [2]
On 13th April 1942, Stanley enlisted in the Australian Army's Volunteer Defence Corps, being allocated to the 6th Battalion (QLD), based at Nambour, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. He was discharged on 19th October 1945. [3] For serving at least three years, Stanley was awarded the Australia Service Medal 1939-1945.
