Biography

Hermen Wijchers married 1 Jantien Jans. Children: Hendrik (1685, married Mergjen Gerrits Smith on Nov 12 1713).

Hermen Wijchers married 2 Jutien Berents from Giethoorn on Jan 16 1669.

Hendrik took on the last name Sok. They were members of the Reformed Church, baptized as adults, which means they were born Mennonite. And there was a Hermen Wichers Socs in the 1693 Zoutgeld. He would most likely have been our Hermen, which would mean he used the name too.
