Biography

Henry was born about 1694. He is the son of Matthew Aylmer and Sarah Ellis.^[1]

He held the office of Equerry to King George I. He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Aylmer, Baron of Balrath, co. Meath [I., 1718] on 18 August 1720.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Rye between 1722 and 1727. He held the office of Comptroller of the Mint between July 1727 and 1754.

He passed away in 1754.
